Old Chigwellian Lodge

A Masonic Lodge for Old Chigwellians and their family

We hope you enjoy browsing this site and reading about our Masonic Lodge. If you have any comments or questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

The website is for anyone interested in finding out more about Freemasonry. Also, those who are already Freemasons are warmly welcomed to join us; just ask! The Old Chigwellian Lodge, number 6648 is an “Old Boys’ Lodge.” It was formed for the convenience of Old Chigwellians (and their close relatives), Governors, Masters and Officers of Chigwell School.

O

Members of the Lodge meet in London three times each year: in February, September and November. For our May meeting we return to School to celebrate our Freemasonry and to support School initiatives.

We cannot, sadly, consider applications from O.C. ladies. We would however recommend O.O. ladies, pupils’ mothers and female members of staff who may be interested in Freemasonry to visit the websites of the two main Freemasonry organisations for women in the UK: The Order of Women Freemasons and the Honourable Fraternity of Ancient Freemasons.

Associated with United grand Lodge, Royal Arch Chapter and Higher Masonic Degrees.

“We are a secular society open to men of any race, religion, political belief and status …”
